Theresa Flores was born in Ohio and spent her first 18 years of life moving from city to city, a result of her upper middle class father's executive job. Transfered and relocated every two years, Theresa ended up attending 3 high schools in 4 years. Though she wanted for nothing, she was vulnerable to the evil nets of Traffickers.
After escaping her traffickers, certain death and a life of servitude, she was able to finish her senior year of high school, attend college and obtain a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Ball State University. Ms. Flores has been a licensed Social Worker in Ohio for over twenty years. She also holds a Master's in Counseling Education from the University of Dayton.

After twenty years of silence and losing her voice, she has gained her inner freedom and her voice and publically shares how she survived, how she broke free; how she healed and how she helps. Join her as she embarks on a crusade to save others still living this form of modern day slavery. Become a supporter of Gracehaven- her passionate endeavor to provide a place of refuge, healing and rebirth for girls that break free the chains of slavery.
